I have all these stories I would love to tell.  But I am never sure how.  I am never quite sure what will come of them once I release them from their cage.  

So I don’t share them.

But sometimes, like right now, I wish I did.  

I wish I had someone who would be willing to listen to my stories.  The ones about the priest with kind eyes reading my father his last rites.  Or the ones about wandering Duluth on a Sunday afternoon simply because I could. Or the ones about how I’ve never really been in love. 

But what happens if I share those stories, and no one listens?  Then what?

If nothing else happens today, I’d be ok with that. #naptime
